SYNTHESIS AND CHARATERIZATION OFMONOETHANOLAMINE CAPPED CERIUM OXIDE NANOPARTICLES

Abstract

Abstract: The Monoethanolamine (MEA) cappedCerium oxide Nanoparticles (CeO2 NPs) was synthesized byco-precipitation method. Synthesized MEA capped CeO2 NPs was formedface centered cubic structure. The morphological and elemental analyses werecarried out using FESEM and EDAX spectrum. Various functional characteristicpeaks were observed FT-IR spectrum.  Fromthe UV-Vis spectrum, the absorption edge peak was found to be 317 nm for MEAcapped CeO2 NPs. The photoluminescencemeasurements revealed that the broad emissions were composed of five differentpeaks observed for MEA capped CeO2 NPs.
