Abstract

Abstract: Knowledgebased authentication systems support user for selecting password for highersecurity. To show effected user choice, encouraging users for selecting randompoints click based graphical passwords is used using click points. To protectthe Passwords theft it is useful. Now Before allowing users to access theservices Text based username password used in authenticating users. To overcomefrom this problem is to assign random password to the user. But it is difficultfor human in recalling a random password string. So user will then write itdown. Another drawback with text is it is crack by telling to friend. Thispaper based on knowledge based authentication. Authentication protects theresources from unauthorized user. Text based passwords are not secured for manyapplication so Image based Authentication (IBA) is used which is based onuser’s identification of image based click points password. After user name enterin to the authentication module, it respond by displaying an  image which contains click based approach inimage match with other images from the user’s password set
