SYNADENIUM GRANTII MEDIATED GREEN SYNTHESIS OF Cdo NANO PARTICLES

Abstract

Abstract: Multifunctional CdO nanoparticles were synthesisedby combustion method using Synadeniumgrantii plant latex as reducing agent. A TEM image shows that the particlesare spherical in shape. FTIR confirms purity of the sample. Energy gap of thesemiconducting CdO nano particles was found to be 3.6 to 3.8 eV through UV-visspectroscopic studies. The particle size is found to decrease with increase infuel concentration, where as the micro strain is found to increase with fuelconcentration. The report concludes an effective simple, eco friendly, fast,cost effective method for the synthesis of CdO nanoparticles.
