Abstract

Abstract: The term'Diaspora' is used to refer to any people or ethnic population forced orinduced to leave their traditional ethnic homelands; being dispersed throughoutother parts of the world; and the ensuing developments in their dispersal andcultural. The original meaning was cut off from the present meaning when theOld Testament was translated to Greek and the word diaspora was used to referspecifically to the populations of Jews exiled from Judea.
