CASE STUDY- A BENEFITS COST ANALYSIS ON THE ECONOMICFEASIBILITY OF CONSTRUCTION WASTE MANAGEMENT

Abstract

Abstract— effective management of solid waste has becomeenvironmentally and economically mandatory due to the increaseof environmental problems. The evaluation of economic aspects isimperative since the implementation of a solid waste managementsystem is connected with considerable investment and operatingcosts. The Economic Evaluation was performed based on a coststructure, which we have to analyze the waste managementscenarios from a cost perspective. To study also analyzed theeconomic feasibility of waste minimization such as reusing andrecycling of construction waste materials by performing a benefit–cost analysis. The study shows that waste minimization iseconomically feasible and also plays an important role for theimprovement of environmental management; which involvedconstruction waste generation and composition as well as reuse andrecycling in the site.Construction costs form part of the overall costs incurred duringthe development of a built asset such as a building. Constructioncost is one of the peak criteria of success of a project throughoutits lifecycle and is of high concern to those who are involved inthe construction industry. Shaping the methodological basis ofprofessional cost management it is possible to speak about a newdirection in the development of the construction pricing. Keywords— Construction costs, Real Estate RegulatoryAuthority (RERA), Waste management techniques, RERA & GSTEffect, Benefits, Economic Feasibility, impacts, Compositing cost,Construction and Demolition Waste
