Abstract

India is one of thedeveloping countries& E-Commerce is facing a rapid growth in the recentyear. The growth was driven by rapid technology adoption led by the increasinguse of devices such as Smartphone's, computers and access to the internetthrough wired and wireless networks, which led to an increased online consumerbase. Meeting the demand of the buyers, creating proper trust in the buyer,providing various other facilities etc. are creating the path for a maturegrowth of E-Commerce companies. This paper gives an overview on the growth of E-Commercein India and also discusses about the future growth segment in the country,analyze the present trends on E-Commerce in India and examine the barriers ofE-Commerce.
