Abstract

Abstract: The bestmethod for early mass Detection is screening mammograms known as mammography. Mammogram analysis processing anykind of mammograms with the aim of finding deficiency presented in themammogram. The aim of this paper is to elaborate how preprocessing work formammographic images. The objective of preprocessing is to improve the qualityof the image and make it ready for further processing by removing theirrelevant noise and unwanted parts in the background of the mammogram. Thereare numerous of methods of preprocessing a mammogram image. Their advantagesand disadvantages are discussed. Inthis paper Comparative study of Wavelet Adaptive Windowing method aneffective technique for tumor detection in mammilla(bosom) has been done , here weexplained various approach suggested by different authors regardingpreprocessing. In this paper what is exactly going on in preprocessing isdiscussed. Then we elaborate preprocessing result. Our preprocessing methodshow superior results during operation
