Abstract

Abstract: In previous system the Denial ofService Attacks can easily target the control plane to impair the networkinfrastructure in addition to the data plane to degrade the user’s Quality ofService (QoS) also implements an SDN Secure Controller algorithm to detect anddefend SDN against DoS attacks. Simulation results showed that SECOsuccessfully defends SDN networks from DoS attacks. The proposed system isimproved version of the previous system. In the Proposed system presents designof such a SDN secure control and Data Plane (SECOD), In the proposed system newtriggers to detect and prevent Denial Of Service Attacks (DOS) in Data Plansand Control. We present how to prevent DoS/DDoS attackers from inflating theirpuzzle-solving capabilities, We introduce a new client puzzle referred to assoftware puzzle. Unlike the existing client puzzle schemes, which publish theirpuzzle algorithms in advance, a puzzle algorithm in the present software puzzlescheme is randomly generated only after a client request is received at theserver side and the algorithm is generated such that: 1) an attacker is unableto prepare an implementation to solve the puzzle in advance and 2) the attackerneeds considerable effort in translating a central processing unit puzzlesoftware to its functionally equivalent GPU version such that the translationcannot be done in real time, this improves security in SDN.
