Abstract

Abstract: Mining is adestructive biodiversity activity for the supply, reinforced and healthy livingconditions of raw materials, fuels and other minerals. The paper discusses theAravali mining area with a variety of mining and stone crushing mills that havebeen under mining for many years. The new documented scandals and the nexus ofthe Mining Mafia are also highlighted. All areas are currently barred frommining as mining has been barred by the Honorable Supreme Court of India and issubject to regulation. This paper discusses the main environmental and socialimpacts and consequences of mining. The majority of the cases and data coveredin this paper are secondary and have been analysed critically in order toquantify the current situation and to classify areas for future research.
