Abstract

Abstract: In Global society due to increased demand of technology, there is aneed to improve the  knowledge ontechnology. Technology is  satisfying asmuch as people's demand  but stilllacking somewhere due to improper knowledge on different techniques.Librariansplay an important role in the development of knowledge society. Informationcommunication technologies give the network links for audio,video as well as toshare and store  the  electronic information from one place toanother. Knowledge, information sharing and to communicate  are of thethree keys for the development of society in the 21st century. Libraries haveworked as an information center and provide information throughout society. Changing society by spreading a goodquality of product and  services,awareness  from time to time which willcreate the  knowledge society.  This paper mainly focused on the variousroles of libraries in development of knowledge society.
