Abstract

Earthquakes, cyclones, blasts, and other natural disasters may all cause damage to civil engineering structures.This kind of loading causes the building to collapse early or to be severely damaged. When the damage is minimal, thestructure may be retrofitted. According to a study of the literature, there are a plethora of retrofitting methods accessible.Fiber Reinforced Plastics (FRP) are an efficient and effective technique of mending damaged buildings among them (FRP).Several buildings have been repaired utilizing FRP methods in the past. This paper includes an overview of FRP methods,their applications, case studies of civil engineering structural restoration, and suitable closing comments.Keywords – Non-linear Dynamic analysis, Varing Geometry
