Abstract

Abstract: In this era of scams andscandals the necessity of corporate governance has been surfaced as asignificant concern in business sector. The corporate governance is concernedwith preserving balance between economic and public aims and also withindividual and collective aspirations. Therefore, the current article isfocused with mainly the overview of the necessity of the corporate governanceand also highlights the problems for corporate governance in India. The mainresult of the current study is that government should make some significantefforts for transparency and ethics. Healthy competition, optimism andconfidence are the pillars on which basis of successful corporate governancemay be preserved. The directors, executives and other decision makers shouldhave to create new vision, creative abilities and creativity to managebusinesses in a changing global context. On the whole, active engagement of allstakeholders is essential for the successful execution of the corporategovernance.
