AN EFFECTIVE ANALYSIS ON PLANT DIESEASE IDENTIFICATIONUSING ARTIFICAL INTELLIGENCE

Abstract

Abstract:- Plant disease is a Major treat in many parts of the world. India is the second-largest food producer globally, sufferingfrom 20 to 40 percent crop loss due to plant diseases. It is estimated to be around $500 billion loss a year only in India. Differentplant diseases are spreading at an enormous rate. And sometimes the Farmer fails to identify the disease at an early stage whichcauses considerable loss afterward. To tackle this challenge, we are developing a platform through which we can diagnose theplant's disease. Farmers or users can upload the plant image on the website, after which the Pretrained AI model detects if thedisease persists or not. And The AI model continuously learns from the uploaded images by the user. We have used ConvolutionNeural Network (CNN) to make the Deep Learning Model. We have used the 'Plant Village' dataset from Kaggle. The AI modelhas been trained using different samples of plant images. A website is developed using Django, a python framework, whichuses MySQL as a database used for user authentication.Keywords: Floral Disease Identification, Django, Deep Learning Model, MySQL, Kaggle
